GET TO KNOW CHARLOTTE

photographer + designer + farmer + advocate

Hi! My name is Charlotte. I am a mom, wife, farmer and real estate broker. Last but not least, I am an advocate for living with the natural world in mind. In all aspects of my life, I prioritize the impact I have on our environment and work to better the planet for my children.

In my free time you will find me at our 120 acre biodynamic farm in Alsea (where we raise grass-feed beef) or traveling with my family. Our two favorite travel locations are the Hawaiian Islands and England. I am a big foodie. Regardless of where we travel it's always about the local flavors. From the Tlayuda of Oaxaca to the smoky meats of Iceland, I am always on the search for the best meal and beautiful architecture. When not traveling, eating or farming, my favorite activities are hosting friends and family, wine tasting, hitting the trails on my mountain bike, finding treasures at estate sales or adventuring with my kids and husband.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin and raised on the Oregon Coast and in the Willamette Valley, I spent most of my younger years riding horses. After graduating college with a degree in interior design emphasizing sustainability, I worked for a Portland non-profit that licensed homes with green certifications, such as ENERGY STAR, Earth Advantage and LEED new construction.  After my first child was born, my husband and I decided to move back to Corvallis to live closer to family and enjoy a slower pace of life.

While raising children, I started a successful photography business. At the same time I bought, renovated and sold multiple houses. Design is my passion. Eventually, my photography clients turned into my interior design clients and my love for homes turned into a career in Real Estate. Now I spend my time helping people buy and sell houses, navigate the real estate world and turn houses into dream homes.
